About "The Escape of Middle C"
I have written and produced a 3D animated/live action fantasy
adventure-mystery movie called
"The Escape Of Middle C" designed
to motivate children to read music and introduce basic music
reading skills.
This movie has been created to help teachers with teaching music
notation, the most difficult part of music, in a colorful,
humorous and imaginative way. Teachers will be allowed to pause
the film so that their students can figure solve the clues
before the movie actors do.

The story line ...
The story line features a young boy from another
planet who can be healed only through music. The young boy's own
father has made music illegal.
Music is being burned and walking
talking instruments are being hunted down and thrown in jail.
The notes have personalities that make them unforgettable,
including their position on the music staff. They warn children
of impending danger by spelling words on the music staff using
their letter name. The children in the movie and in the audience
are compelled to decode the words (name the notes) in order to
solve the clues and save the day. In this movie the children are
the heroes and realize the importance of music to their
well-being.
